Three mail servers:
mail1.warwickcompsoc.co.uk - Codd
mail2.warwickcompsoc.co.uk - Goggins
mail3.warwickcompsoc.co.uk - Codd
For uwcs.co.uk and warwickcompsoc.co.uk, we also have:
- mail-relay-1.csv.warwick.ac.uk
- mail-relay-2.csv.warwick.ac.uk
- mail-relay-3.csv.warwick.ac.uk
because ITS have added our domains to the acceptable list.
All the servers run Postfix.
Routing
Incoming mail
Port 25 on Codd and Backus cannot be reached from off-campus. Most of the mail therefore arrives via Pat or Jess.
Outgoing mail
All outgoing mail destined for off-campus goes via Pat or Jess. Ports 25 of Pat and Jess are not accessible from campus, so Postfix is also configured to run on port 8025. Codd and Backus are currently permitted to deliver to Pat and Jess for outgoing domains.
In the event of Pat and Jess dying: switch the outgoing mail to go through the Warwick mail relays.
Mail destined for campus will be delivered to the ITS mail relays directly from Codd.

This is an anti-spam feature. It is configured on all three servers.
